After contracting and recovering from COVID-19, Big Apple Urgent Care Co-founder Dr. Tamara Moise worked to educate the public on how they can best support frontline workers during this pandemic.
With the closure of colleges and university campuses and election primaries being either postponed or attracting decreased participation due to COVID-19, AGF is organizing its programs to meet new challenges faced by college students and minority voters.
Because of the widespread implications of AGF’s work, TDG hosted a media briefing to educate the media about voter suppression and the impacts of COVID-19 on the election. We secured the participation of 13 national outlets, including The New York Times, MSNBC, Rolling Stone, and The Guardian. We also generated 5 stories as a result of the call.
