The primary goal of the NYC Mayor’s PEU is to proactively connect New Yorkers to key City services, providing individualized, long-term case management across a broad range of resources to help tenants stay in their homes, sign up for or renew health insurance coverage, and more. To advance these objectives, NYC PEU has been raising awareness about existing programs and has launched a new tenant helpline with live operators to offer immediate assistance to New Yorkers experiencing housing issues.
